Website Developer
If you're passionate about the web and enjoy the challenges of developing websites, then we'd like you to join our team.

You will be responsible for developing interfaces for client websites. A typical day would have you working on new HTML/CSS/Javascript layouts for websites. We utilize NPM and build scripts in our daily work so experience with Node.js, and npmis desired.
You will also be part of building out new websites with content provided by our clients as well as making updates and improvements to existing client websites. Because most of our clients use our CMS, you'll be using it a lot to build and edit their websites.
Experience with developing responsive websites is a must as all of the sites that we build are mobile-friendly and utilize responsive design techniques.
You should also have experience with Javascript and should be able to write your own Javascript code without relying solely on libraries. Not every project has it, but some projects require a lot of custom Javascript.

- Cacao CSS (utility CSS library)
- Aptuitiv website build tools (NPM build tools for websites)

How many hours a week will I work?
We are looking for a part-time (20 - 30 hours/week) or full-time website developer (40 hours/week).
Where are you located?
We are located in downtown Farmington, Maine, which is about 40 minutes north of Augusta and Auburn and 1.5 hours north of Portland.
Can I work remotely?
Yes, but you must have proven experience working remotely. If you live near Farmington, Maine, we would like you to work closely with our team at our Farmington office. But if not, then remote work is a good possibility.
Website Designer
We are looking for a talented website designer to join our team.
You will mostly be designing new websites for our clients. They range from small business sites to ecommerce, to municipal, and everything in between. See our portfolio for some examples. We also provide template-based sites for smaller businesses so you will also be involved in designing new themes.
Ideally you will also have some experience with HTML and CSS. Javascript is a plus. We feel that a good designer is familiar with the medium they are designing for (browsers) can can actually build a website. You don't have to be a super-star front-end developer, but you should at least be able to build something that works.
