Project Overview

The Flagstaff Area Business Association (FABA) approached us about redesigning their website for the Maine High Peaks region. The goal of the website is to promote the largest mountains in Maine for recreational use, tourism, and education.

The old website was powered by Drupal, but it was cumbersome to edit and to use. It wasn't mobile friendly and a lot of the content was outdated.

The new website has been well received. It provides the FABA a lot of ways to promote the region. Each mountain has its own page and features large imagery and a map showing it's location.  A full member directory promotes area businesses and provides different ways to find a business by searching, browsing by category, or browsing by name.

To meet the needs of encouraging recreation and tourism, a new "Things to Do" section was added to the website to highlight all the different activities and sight-seeing opportunities that the area offers. Each activity page also pulls in relevant area businesses on an interactive map.

The entire site is powered by BranchCMS and uses it's Blog, Members, Gallery, and Calendar apps.
